| Events: |
| We cheer for football, (our former parent organization), as well as a variety of events in the local area. One of our squads cheers for ice hockey. We compete on a national level and maybe in the future also abroad! |
| Team Bonding Activities: |
| We get together for dinner at the end of the season to have fun and to remember the past season. Occasional sauna evenings and get-together activities are a must. |
| Traditions: |
| A cheerleader of the year award is voted on by team members and presented to the winner. We also like to remember squad members going abroad for a year with a special gift etc. Peewees have their own Christmas party every year. |
| Working with FlyGirl: |
| We had the privilege to meet Mandy at summer camp in 2000 and also 2001. The squad members taking part in the camps learned a lot of new and fun stuff and most importantly, that perfection comes first.
We gathered both juniors and seniors together for a private clinic run by Mandy. She got us all very excited and helped us in timing, getting stunts rock solid and hitting motions. Even in just couple of hours Mandy managed to make everyone look more confident in everything we do and get the squad really pumped up to learn more. Thanks for that Mandy! |
