Events:
We contribute to our town Midland and the surrounding communities by cheering in both the Santa Claus and Canada Day parades, the Terry Fox Run (perform a demo and warm-up the participants, cheer at the finish line), cheer at Geogrian College at many games, cheer at the Simcoe County Special Olympics, perform at variety shows and much, much more. We focus on approx. 6 or 7 competitions throughout the year. We compete in both Canada and the United States. We will be going back to South Carolina in the spring of 2005 to defend our1st place title.
Team Bonding Activities:
Annual Christmas party, annual Terry Fox Run barbeque, annual SuperStar awards night, Flygirl cheerleading camp each summer, numerous road-trips to the US.
Traditions:
All of our team bonding activities, stunt-time for athletes on their birthdays, attending and supporting all of our community's annual events for the past 7 years, competing at the Cheer For Charity in New York and annual Flygirl competitions.
Special:
The #1 elite cheerleading club in simcoe county. The SuperStars Cheerleading Club is currently going into it's 8th year. The SuperStars Cheerleaders promote, foster and develop cheerleading in the North Simcoe County area, helping cheerleaders grow in a supportive environment that welcomes all levels of skills and achievement. We are committed to teaching with integrity and developing exceptional, dedicated young athletes. We believe in first building relationships and trust, that lead to competitors and winners, not only in cheerleading; but more importantly in life.
