| Special: |
| Cheer Stars was built on the foundation of the former KalPa Cheerleaders so the team has competed in nationals since 1998. We have three guys in our team as well, so we are starting up a co-ed team. We did build an all-stars team within the team and had try-outs for the juniors and seniors, this way we find it easier to perform and compete. In nationals we will compete with separate teams, but we have found that the all-stars team is a great team building activity to mix seniors and juniors, and working with "new" team members also develops the skills of the individuals within the team. |
