I want to thank you for your respect, for being a role model for your team mates, for going above and beyond what was asked of you physically, emotionally, spiritually, for your enthusiasm, your laughter, your love for Roy, your belief in FlyGirl, and your support for me. I can't believe I am not going to get to watch you cheer for Queen's, teach more camps, get your double, get married, and have little Stephs.

Your death has instantly grounded me. I remember your pink FlyGirl tee shirt and your bow. It meant a lot to me that you wore it to almost every practice. I used to wear a bow every day and seeing you wear yours reminded me of that time when cheerleading was everything to me. Sometimes when I get caught up in running the business I forget how much cheerleading means to the staff, and to the kids. I especially forget how much it means to me.

I wish I had given you more opportunities and spent more time with you Steph. I am at a loss.

FlyGirl and U of T will never be the same, and I will remember you always.

You were kind, sensitive to others, loving of your boyfriend and your sports. You left me way too soon. I was so excited when you joined Flygirl because I thought that you had just begun the real passion of your life. You will always be in my memory and I will always remember your energy, enthusiasm, determination, love, drive to succeed.

May we all pray for you for you truly are an angel.
