Toronto, Ontario (February 20th , 2006) - FlyGirl, an international cheerleading company bassed in Toronto, is hosting their Spring Cheer Competition February 25th, 2006 at Ryerson University in Toronto. Performances are set to high energy music and include elements of gymnastics, acrobatics, cheerleading and dance. There will be cheerleaders and dancers from all across Ontario and New York State flying their highest while representing their high schools, universities and all star teams.

Two dollars from every ticket sold will go toward NEDIC (The National Eating Disorder Information Center). FlyGirl President Mandy Cheetham is working with NEDIC to distribute information to support and educate the athletes, coaches and families involved in cheerleading. Mandy says that "many young women and men involved in our sport have disordered thinking about their bodies. We are doing our part to teach them they are perfect just the way they are."

FlyGirl competitions offer an environment of great sportsmanship and always award individuals and teams that excel in this area.
