You can join us on your own as chaperones are part of the program or join us with your family. Family can room with you and join us to shows and outings.

Arrive in New York City

Meet at La Guardia airport or at the hotel in Midtown Manhattan

Meet & Greet with dancers and staff. Following lunch, travel to Ripley Grier studios for group private workshops.

Take workshops with 2 top choreographers and also have industry chats, Q & A's, autograph signing sessions and photo taking opportunities.

Theatre Jazz with Josh Bergasse. Josh is on faculty at Broadway Dance Center and has many Broadway credits including Movin Out, Hairspray, The Life and West Side Story. Many of his students are now working on Broadway.

Hip Hop with Brice Vick. Brice is the exclusive choreographer for Ashanti and other credits include Christina Aguilera, Destiny's Child and Lenny Kravitz, to just name a few.

Following the workshops, travel to Times Square to have dinner at Planet Hollywood and then have fun at Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum.

Dec 27

Today is the Rockettes Experience. We will travel to Radio City Music Hall

9 am - 2 pm The Rockette Experience. She will take a class with the world famous Rockettes and learn Rockette choreography. There will also be a mock audition, Q & A and chat with Rockette, photos and more. Following the class, there will be a tour of Radio City

2 - 5 pm Go back to the hotel, have lunch and get ready for the optional photo shoot. Travel to the photo shoot studio which is right across from Central Park Most of the dancers are doing the optional photo shoot with Dorothi Shi, one of NY's most sought after photographers. She photographs TV and movie stars, recording artists and even Donald Trump.

5 - 8 pm Photo Shoot. For the dancers not doing the shoot, they will sit in and watch how professional hair & make up is done at professional photo shoots and also be on site for the shoot.

Travel to Radio City Hall after dinner for the Rockettes Show. It is the Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes. The show is at 9:30 pm for approx. 2 hrs

After the show, we will walk over to Rockeffeler Center to see the world's largest lit Christmas Tree

Today is the Ailey Experience

10:30 am - 11 Tour of Ailey's facilities which are the largest and most beautiful in North America

4 group private workshops with world renowned Ailey faculty including: Ballet, Horton (form of modern), West African and Theatre Dance. These classes all have live musicians which is an amazing experience.

During lunch, 1 of the faculty will join us for lunch as well as a chat, Q & A and m dinner, travel to New York City Center to watch the 50th anniversary Alvin ore

AfterAiley American Dance Theatre's show which will feature live musicians and vocalists.

Travel back to hotel

Dec 29 & Dec 30

Dancers will spend a full day (10 am - 10 pm) at top New York dance studios including Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway. Here you choose the classes/levels and choreographers you wish to work with in many different dance styles including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Modern, Yoga, Pilates and much more...

During lunch, walking sightseeing in the area and shopping opportunities or just relax in the studios lounge areas

Dec 31

9 am - 12 pm Private group Musical Theatre Vocal class with Linda Glick. Vocal exercises will be a part of the class. Although the dancers are not vocalists, we feel that this adds to the whole Broadway Experience and will help with stage fright, confidence and more

Spend all afternoon shopping, sightseeing and touring NY hot spots

5 pm travel to Times Square for New Years Eve Celebration

This is optional. If you do not wish to be outside for this, you are free to do your own thing if you are with family and maybe watch from the hotel. So far, all the dancers and parents will be doing this.

For those interested in being a part of the largest and most exciting New Years Eve party, we will head to Times Square for the annual midnight ball drop to ring in 2009 with about 1 million other revellers. Spend the afternoon from 6 pm - midnight watching live performances. The line up will be announced in December. Last year, performances included The Jonas Brothers, Lenny Kravitz, Carrie Underwoon, Miley Cyrus and many more. Hosts including Cat Deeley, Carson Daly and others are always in attendance.
